Precautions
Precaution 3: Use standard short-circuit copper bars for single-phase input. Do not short-
circuit the input using cables.
Precaution 2: The following figure shows the tightening torque. Hold the circuit breaker and pull
out the cable with force (10 kg force for a 125 A circuit breaker and 5 kg force for a 63 A circuit
breaker). Ensure that the cable does not move.
Precaution 1: Crimp cord end terminals on both AC and DC power cables, and ensure that the
crimped cord end terminal is square.
The core wires are
not exposed.
1. Strip the cord end terminal based on Table 2 in Appendix A. Otherwise, the crimping may be
unreliable or the copper wire of the cable may be exposed.
2. The crimped terminal must be square (not round, D-shaped, or other shapes). It is
recommended that you use standard crimping pliers to crimp the terminal.
3. After connecting the copper wire to the circuit breaker, ensure that no metal or copper wire
is exposed. If it is exposed, strip the cable and crimp the terminal again.

Precaution 4: It is recommended that cables be horizontally routed for 50 mm and then routed

upwards. Ensure that the cables do not block the ejection of the circuit breaker button.

Precaution 5: Warning! Aluminum wires cannot be directly connected to a circuit breaker.

Otherwise, the connection may be unreliable due to electrochemical corrosion. If you need to use

aluminum wires, see Appendix B.

Appendix A Cable Terminal Selection

Cut the exposed part at the

end of the aluminum cable.

Select an appropriate

copper-aluminum

terminal.

Strip the cable for 20 mm

based on the insertion depth

of the copper-aluminum

terminal.

Crimp two lines on the

copper wire and

aluminum wire

respectively.

Wrap the insulation tape

around the copper terminal

and the aluminum cable

and wrap the matching

jacket for insulation.

Procedure:

Hydraulic pliers

Use the

corresponding die

for crimping.

Copper-

aluminum

terminals

AC input

circuit

breakers with

square holes.

Insert the square copper

column of the copper-

aluminum terminal into the

circuit breaker.

When connecting a 35

mm

2

copper-aluminum

terminal to a circuit

breaker, ensure that the

side as shown in the

following figure faces

upwards. Otherwise, the

copper-aluminum terminal

may interfere with the

circuit breaker button.

Solution 2: copper-aluminum connecting pipe

Strip the copper wires of phases L1, L2, L3, and N at an interval of 130 mm to ensure that the

copper and aluminum connection pipes are staggered and do not interfere with the metal

mechanical parts in the cabinet.

Cut the exposed oxidized

part at the end of the

aluminum cable.

Select an appropriate

copper-aluminum

connecting pipe.

The length of the stripped

cable depends on the

insertion depth of the pipe.

Apply conductive

paste evenly to the

surface of the

aluminum wires

(thickness: 0.05–0.

mm).

  1. After crimping the

cable, pull the cable

with a force not less

than 1000 N (about

100 kg) to ensure that

the cable does not fall

off.

  1. If there are burrs or

sharp edges after

crimping, trim them to

ensure that the surface

is flat without burrs or

sharp edges.

Insulate with

fiberglass tubes

and heat-shrink

tubing.

Precautions for Connecting Terminals to Circuit Breakers

When replacing a single-pole circuit breaker, use a flat-head screwdriver to press the small

boss, and push the circuit breaker based on the position of the cable hole.

Protruding

Protruding

part

When the crimped surface protrudes, ensure that the crimped surface does not contact the current-

through surface of the circuit breaker when the terminal is connected to the circuit breaker.

Otherwise, the terminal may be burnt.

screw or tool hole is the current-through surface.
