Incentive and Sales Force Management provides the instruments and methods to enable you to achieve your sales targets quickly, easily and cost-effectively. Its integrated approach helps companies to manage their sales team effectively. The possibility to define clear and transparent models and to introduce new products or distribution cannels in a short period of time translates into sales activities that are fully aligned with your corporate strategy. Estrutura Modular The requirements of a sales force management system vary, depending on your branch of industry, market situation, enterprise structure and so on. As exigências de um sistema de administração de força de vendas variam, enquanto dependendo de sua filial de indústria, situação do mercado, estrutura de empreendimento e assim por diante. The modular structure of ISF addresses these varying requirements and lets you react flexibly and quickly to changing situations. ISF is made up of so-called ISF packages. Since the various branches of industry are very different from each other, we provide the option of designing your incentive and sales force management system according to your industry-specific requirements by the selection of appropriate ISF packages. The modular structure of ISF lets you address your specific IT requirements. The ISF packages are preconfigured, and you can also add your own rule definitions to adapt them to your specific requirements. The ISF packages you select have a major influence on the functions that are available. Integration The following business functions are provided: EA_ICM_ICM_CORE_01 Incentive and Commission Management
See: Setting the Activation Switch Características Interfaces ISF is fully encapsulated and is fed with data through the inbound interface (posting of business transactions). You can use ISF either with or without Incentive and Commission Management (ICM), Credentialing (CRD) and Portfolio Assignment (PFO), even if these are distributed systems. ISF can be called by any other system that processes business transactions (such as sales, accounts receivable, collections) as well as any integrated SAP system, SAP remote system, or another provider’s system. Data is transferred through a general report interface (raw data interface) or the settlement interface (disbursement program). These interfaces are batch- and RFC- enabled. The commission that is calculated is transferred to the respective disbursement systems, depending on the payee. See: Link to Target Systems Some components also have enhancement packages for their preconfigured integration; you can add additional components on a project basis using the relevant enhancement method and without modifications. See: Interfaces and Data Transfer in ICM Roles in ISF In ISF, we provide user-defined roles in the back-end system and in SAP NetWeaver Portal. Roles in Back-End System ISF provides specific enhancements of SAP Business Partner. SAP Business Partner enables you to create and maintain business partners centrally. This is particularly useful if a business partner hast multiple user roles. The following business partner roles (BP roles) are available in ICM: BP Role: Commission Contract Partner BP Role: Agent without Own Commission Contract
BP Role: Commission Clerk Roles in SAP NetWeaver Portal Business Package for ICM Analyst Business Package for Sales Compensation Analyst (Insurance) Business Package for ICM Participant Business Package for Sales Representative (Insurance) Business Package for ICM Credentials Manager Business Package for Credentials Manager (Insurance) SAP Organizational Management Line relationships, project relationships and other types of relationships in a commission management system result in the distribution of remuneration, or they influence responsibilities. ICM uses SAP Organizational Management for this purpose. Further Integration and Use of Components ISF also uses other components, depending on the level on which you intend to use it; for more information see the corresponding documentation. More Information For more information on other areas such as BI Content or SAP Solution Manager Content in ISF, see Documentation Landscape of SAP Incentive and Sales Force Management.
Before you can use the functions of Incentive and Sales Force Management (ISF) , you must first activate ISF. Process

The light versions provide basic functions that may be enough to fulfill your requirements profile. Enhanced functions of the commission case - light , such as for target agreements, partnerships and actual commission Additional technical interfaces or ERP integration, such as the link to settlement systems or reporting systems Support through preconfigured interfaces or Business Content for selected scenarios, such as ICM for CRM or ICM for Insurance Note You can activate additional ISF packages at any time after productive start. Recommendation We recommend you do not delete any packages after their creation since this may result in the loss of table content and DDIC elements. You should note any licensing restrictions in your selection of packages. Overview of ISF Packages For an overview of the ISF packages that are available, see Customizing for Incentive and Sales Force Management under General Modeling and Administration Select Packages for Application. Package CRD000: Core Package for Credentialing To use the functions of a credentialing application, you must select core package CRD000. Note
To use an ICM and a CRD application together you must select package CACS71 in the ICM application. Package CACS00: Core Package for ICM Package CACS00 is the core package in SAP Incentive and Commission Management (ICM). It forms the basis of your commission application and must be selected. The selection of additional packages is optional. To map calculation formula, you must select one of the SAP calculation tools (CACSSD, CACSM2) or install a different calculation tool using the logical service. If you want to transfer settlement objects automatically from ICM to a settlement system, you need to select one of the three service connections (CACSCD, CACSHR, CACSFI) or install your own connection using the logical service. The package includes non-industry-specific sample entries (such as change reasons) as well as system-relevant entries (such as logical services). Package CACS26: Target Agreements Package CACS26 provides the functions of target agreements if you use ICM as the target administration system as well as the classification system. You must also select CACSTX (complex valuation). As an option, you can select package CACS29 which provides sample Customizing. If you intend to use portfolio assignment (PFO) as the classification system, also select package CACSTB. Package CACSTX: Complex Valuation The functions of the complex valuation are provided with package CACSTX. If you use the functions of target agreements (package CACS26), you should also use this package. Package CACS29: Target Agreements (Sample) With this package, ICM provides a standard sample for target agreements. To be able to use this sample, you must generate an application with package CACS26. Package CACSTB: Target Agreements with PFO
You can use the actual commission for activities such as comparing income from regular premiums on the one hand and commission payments on the other, or to monitor commission payments from a risk management point of view. The package includes non- industry-specific sample entries (such as a sample release type) as well as system- relevant entries (such as logical services). Package CACS25: Settlement Scheduling Package CACS25 provides the functions to perform the scheduling of remuneration entitlements, such as settlement scheduling. Settlement schedules can be recalculated if changed circumstances call for this. Settlement scheduling is a requirement if you intend to use actual commission (CACS27), The package includes non-industry-specific sample entries (such as a payment release rule) as well as system-relevant entries (such as logical services). Package FSCS01: Standard Scenarios for Insurance (SAP for Insurance) You should select package FSCS01 if you wish to create a commission application in the insurance environment. The package contains all the relevant system and Customizing entries for creating a simple commission application in the insurance context. The package includes industry-specific sample entries (such as a remuneration type or acquisition commission for life insurance) as well as system-relevant entries (such as logical services).. No sample settings are provided for the areas of liability and bonuses since there is no standard delivery here. Package CRM001: Standard Scenarios of SAP CRM Package CRM001 contains the main Customizing entries for a selected business scenario that interfaces with SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM). Package CACSFI: Service Connection to Payments in Accounts Payable Select package CACSFI if you wish to make settlements and disbursements in Accounts Payable Accounting (FI-AP). This package contains system-relevant entries (such as logical services). Package CACSCD: Service Connection to Settlement in Collections/Disbursements of the Insurance Industry
Select package CACSCD if you wish to make settlements and disbursements in Collections and Disbursements (FS-CD). This package contains system-relevant entries (such as logical services). Package CACSHR: Service Connection to Payments in Payroll Select package CACSHR if you wish to make settlements and disbursements in Payroll (PY). This package contains system-relevant entries (such as logical services). Note Selection of packages CACSFI, CACSCD and CACSHR: If you use your own disbursement system, you must make the necessary settings in Customizing. To do so, choose Incentive and Sales Force Management Basic and Master Data Standard Commission Contract Settlement and Cancellation Reserve Agreement Define Settings for Target Settlement System. Package CACS42: Determine Valuation Using Copy Service (Simple Calculation) This package provides simple calculation methods for the valuation, based on the copy service. This package contains system-relevant entries (such as logical services). Package CACSSD: Calculation Using Condition Technique (SD Condition Technique) Select package CACSSD if you wish to use the SD condition technique to determine certain information (output values) on the basis of predetermined information (input values) based on conditions. This package provides calculation methods for remuneration, valuation and liability based on the condition technique. Since there is currently no other calculation service available in the standard delivery, we recommend using this package if you do not intend to install your own tool. This package contains system-relevant entries (such as logical services). You can replace the standard SAP condition technique with a different tool. To do so, you must configure it in Customizing for Incentive and Sales Force Management under Tools Logical Service. Package CACSRC: Service Connection for Reporting (Report Painter) We recommend using SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) to create reports. Package CACSBW provides the connection to SAP NetWeaver BI. However, if you prefer to use drilldown reporting, you must select this ICM package. This package contains system-relevant entries (such as logical services).
Pré-requisitos Before you start constructing your application, you need to make sure that the special requirements and the technical implementation have been met. Applications need to be generated by experienced system administrators. A sound knowledge of the ABAP Workbench, in particular the ABAP Dictionary is also required. Características General Application Modeling and Administration Installation of Commission Application First you name your application and then you select the ISF packages you require to build your application. Copy Cross-Client Customizing from Template In the most important cross-client E-tables in the commission environment, the system creates a duplicate of every entry that refers to the standard template. In the duplicate entry, the name of the template is replaced by the name of the commission application you determined in the previous step. Design Adjustment of Application In this first activity, you define which categories of business objects (such as an insurance contract) may be used in business transactions related to commissions (such as a new acquisition). The next step is to define subobject types. You can structure object types in a hierarchy: For instance you can stipulate that the contract is the higher-level object type whereas the contract components, tariffs, product information, and so on are the lower-level object types. In the application construction , you define the differences that your application should have compared to the standard application of the kernel package. The construction only affects the structures and tables that are to be generated. Views, programs and function groups are automatically adjusted. Compare Local Copies of Structures with Originals in Operational Systems The commission system compares local copies and structures with the originals from the operational system. Generate Commission Application The generating program creates a commission application on the basis of the construction. Translation for Multilingual Use When you create the commission application, you can enter your own descriptions in certain places, for example for object types. If the commission application is to be used in more than one language, you need to translate these texts. You can use the SAP standard transaction SE63. Release Application for Clients In this activity, you define which clients use your commission application. For more information, see Multiclient Ability. Copy Customizing from Template (Application Client-Specific) In the client-specific tables, the system creates a duplicate of every entry that refers to the standard template. In the duplicate entry, the name of the template is replaced by the name of the application. Implementation Considerations
The implementation of your commission application is divided up into the following phases: Design Phase The design phase is a very important part of implementation. The correct design largely determines how useful Incentive and Commission Management will be. In the design phase, you determine which data (attributes) is to be maintained in ICM that can be supplied externally (for instance enhancement of structures). Generation Phase In the generation phase, the DDIC objects, programs, classes and function modules that were adapted in the design phase are generated. This means that the SAP template objects are copied to the customer namespace. The SAP application name is replaced by your own application name that you defined in the Installation of Commission Application activity. Customizing Phase In Customizing, you make the settings for the general commission agreements and the rules for valuation, remuneration calculation, and settlement. You can then use these settings in master data maintenance for drawing up individual commission agreements. Templates are available to help you with Customizing. Test Phase We strongly recommend that you test the new functions and table accesses extensively once you have completed the Customizing phase. Legacy Data Transfer The transfer of legacy data is relevant if you want to use drilldown reports or cancellation calculations in the commission system. Going Live When you have successfully carried out the above steps, you can move from the pre- productive environment to productive use (going live). 1.1.2.1. Packages in Incentive and Sales Force Management The modular structure of Incentive and Sales Force Management (ISF) lets you choose the exact functions (grouped into so-called ISF packages) that you require for your organizational requirements. Definition: ISF Package A container for objects that belong together either thematically or technically. Unlike regular development packages, ISF packages can contain Customizing as well as development objects. ISF packages are templates that help you construct your application. There are two types of ISF packages; core packages and enhancement packages.
We recommend you do not delete any packages after their creation since this may result in the loss of table content and DDIC elements. Note To use an ICM and a CRD application together you must select package CACS71 in the ICM application.
Package CACSTB: Target Agreements with PFO Use package CACSTB if you intend to use portfolio assignment (PFO) as the classification system for target agreements (package CACS26). You should only use this package in conjunction with target agreements. Package CACS42: Partnerships Package CACS42 provides the functions for partnerships in your commission application. The main package CACS00 is a prerequisite. With partnerships you can combine commission contracts of equal status (not in a hierarchy) and register these as a group in the commission case. This package provides functions to distribute commissions between the members of the partnership on the basis of customer-specific selection criteria. Package CACS41: Entitlement and Liability Transfer Package CACS41 provides the function to carry out entitlement and liability transfer (ELT). Package CACS41 contains non-industry-specific core elements of entitlement and liability transfer, as do packages CACS44 and CACS45. Package CACS45 provides the standard delivery of ELT. Package CACS44 contains the functions required if entitlements are to be disbursed using settlement scheduling. Package CACS45: ELT Delivery Scenario
