This classic tale tells the story of a little duckling who was
different. It takes place on a farm, where animals lived together.
Once upon a time, a mother duck was sitting on her eggs.
When the eggs broke, small yellow ducklings started to come
out. But one egg was bigger than the others. He was grey and
his quack was strange.
As the days were passing, all the animals on the farm were
laughing constantly at him. The ugly duckling was very sad.
One night, the duckling decided to leave the farm. He was
following a way when he found luckily another farm. There, a
farmer helped him. The farmer gave him food and water. The
duckling felt protected.
But a few days later, he realized that the woman was evil. She
only wanted to eat him. The ugly duckling ran away from there.
After that, he found a pond, he looked at himself and said, "I
am very ugly".
He was crying alone when a group of animals arrived suddenly.
They were different like him.
The ugly duckling saw /looked at them curiously. The first
animal was a hawk. He said “ I can’t fly high but I learned to run
fast”.
The duckling was amazed. The ugly duckling learned to swim
quickly because the hawk taught him.
Then, a curious turtle said “the animals always told me that I
am very slow but I learned to be cautious”.
