The useR!2017 conference at Warwick University brought together R users from around the world to share knowledge, learn new skills, and promote gender diversity in the R community. The event featured presentations on various topics including R packages, documentation, data science education, and using RStan in packages. Attendees came from 54 countries and included newbies, students, and professionals. R-Ladies, a worldwide organization, played a significant role in promoting gender diversity and providing a friendly and safe environment for learning.
