PT Toha Putra is one of the companies that implements Islamic management and resource management.tersebut can be a kind of sample for other companies that will implement Islamic-based management.
1. Recruitment In terms of recruitment, PT Tohan Putra has approached Islamic management practices. This can be seen by the existence of a closed recruitment process and requires Muslims as a mandatory condition of registration and coming from relatives so as to better guarantee the permanence of His Islam is in line with what the company expects. Labor is one of the important factors in the running of the production process. A qualified workforce is needed to be able to produce quality results as well. PT Toha Putra strives that workers who do the work of printing the Koran are good work, sholeh and maintain their faith. When it comes to working jobs, not all workers get it. Employment contracts are only applied to workers who have entered the last few years. In practice, Pt Toha Putra only provides employment contracts (work agreements) only to workers who have skills. This is evidenced by the statements of respondents from the production department , especially workers who have been working for a long time, on average they do not get or sign an employment contract. Employment contracts are only obtained by workers who are included in the last few years. The difference between a contract worker and a permanent worker in terms of an employment contract is if the contract worker in his employment contract contains the type of work, working time, salary plus with the guarantee of health and spouse.
4. Performance Appraisal Performance appraisal is carried out to assess the extent of the implementation of the work of workers. In Islam, performance appraisals must be conducted fairly and equitably. PT Toha Putra uses two types of performance appraisals, namely non-formal through supervision, and formal with a recap of performance appraisals. The assessment process itself is carried out fairly and equally, and there is not even a practice of favoritism (favoritism). Performance appraisal is used by the company as one of the benchmarks for the effectiveness of company management. With the performance appraisal, the company can find out the things that must be improved or developed, while for the worker, the assessment is carried out as material for evaluating themselves alone. Training and development The implementation of the training and development program of PT Toha Putra is held annually, based on the needs of the company.
