Technology has changed the lives of people in many ways, and the education system is also affected by the growth in technology because nowadays schools and other educational institutes are providing the facility of online classes to the students. No doubt, online learning has many advantages, but its disadvantages cannot be neglected. During the pandemic, the government authority changed the system of tutoring from in-campus to online mode for the convenience of students. But with time, the various educational institutes adopted online teaching methods for the long term. For students, online learning is quite effective and entertaining because of the visual representation, which will help them to understand the topic more clearly. I found a very interesting fact that online classes help to engage students and tutors in the same ways as offline campuses (Lesile, 2010). Additionally, it also introduced numerous ideas for teaching, such as blogs, presentations, wikis, and journals. He also mentioned the merits of conducting online quizzes, tests, labs, and group projects, which help to grade all the students at the same time with auto-check. Therefore, online learning is not only limited to tests or final exams like off-campus study, as it also brings a plethora of new methods to educate students with new experiences through advancements in technology. Due to online learning, students do not get tired of commuting from one place to another; it saves a lot of time as well. Moreover, a survey was found in the article written by Kampamba, M. He used the survey to show the responses of 240 students regarding online learning. Most of the students showed a negative attitude towards online learning because of the high expenses of the internet and the inconvenience of online learning. However, the point that grabbed my attention was that so many students were still interested in the online study while complaining at the same time (Kampamba, 2023). In contrast, another, Cakmakkaya OS claimed by using a survey which demonstrated a positive attitude of students towards online learning. In the article, the writer claimed that the survey was conducted after COVID-19 to find the impacts of online learning. A
disturbing the whole class. Moreover, online classes are recordable, so in case any student forgets to attend the class or misses the class due to personal reasons, then they are at no loss because they can listen to the recorded class and make up for their work. Therefore, there are multiple merits and limitations of Online Learning which has changed the education system. I believe that the method of online teaching should be continued by educational institutes for the constant delivery of education to learners.
