2. METHODOLOGY

In order to conduct this study, we utilized the PDF drawings provided by Professor Nizamudeen Khan, which are presented in Figure 1 (see Appendix 1). Figure 1: PDF Drawings (Appendix 1) Step 1: PDF to CAD Based on the drawings provided, we initiated the process by converting and scaling the project's dimensions using AutoCAD 2024. Figure 2 : DWG Drawings (Appendix 2 ) The outcome of this step is represented in Figure 2 (see Appendix 2), where we present the DWG drawings. In this stage, we focused on extracting critical measurements, including the requested components' lengths, widths, and heights.

Step 2: CAD to REVIT Once we had obtained the accurate dimensions and scales for the project, we proceeded to model it in REVIT 2024. This allowed us to ensure that the project details matched the information provided by Professor Khan. The model created during this phase is displayed in Figure 3 (see Appendix 3). Step 3: Schedule Tables using REVIT and EXCEL In this stage, we utilized both Excel and Revit for the creation of planning tables. These tables were developed in accordance with the relevant formulas, enabling us to calculate volumes, areas, and other necessary metrics. The final quantities were determined using the data from the planning tables, with Excel playing a crucial role in these calculations. It is important to emphasize that all detailed calculations can be found in the attached Excel sheet, provided in the respective support tabs. The Schedule Tables, along with the Excel sheet, are illustrated in Figure 4 (contained within Appendix 3).
