Context: The student organisation of English Letters Study Program has four annual events that have
always been conducted for 10 years. However, because of some financial issues faced by the
University, the funding is significantly cut and there’s only enough funding for one event. What
decision the student organisation should make?
Group 2
Context: Pos Indonesia is state-owned logistics corporate that provides courier, package delivery,
and mail service. However, as various competitors emerge (JNE, J&T, Si Cepat, Anteraja, etc), the
market competition is getting more and more challenging. What can Pos Indonesia do to survive?
Group 3
Context: You are all a staff at Kampung Inggris Solo, one of English courses in Solo. For so many
years, this institution has been using the English coursebook used by school to help students
progress with their English. However, parents are asking for more various activities to avoid
boredom since the kids are complaining, saying that they are bored. What is the best move that
Kampung Inggris Solo should take?
DIRECTION:
1. Class is divided into five groups (using previous groups are better).
2. Practice LGD with those case studies.
3. In the exam, the lecturer will choose one topic randomly.
4. Each student is required to participate in the discussion three times at minimum (equal to
speaking 2 minutes in length). Participating in the discussion means giving opinions, aggreging,
opposing, or commenting your friend’s statement.
