1. How was your business experience during pandemic. How did affect your business?
-All resorts especially here in Zambales were closed during the pandemic and there is really no source of
income. For short, business is dead during the pandemic times.
2. Given the challenges posed by the pandemic, could you share with us how your resort adapted its
business model to continue providing exceptional guest experiences while ensuring the safety of both
guests and employees?
3. How did your resort maintain financial stability during the pandemic? Did you have to seek any forms
of financial assistance or pivot to new revenue streams?
-We should not stick to one business opportunity only. Aside from the resort, there should be another
source of income so that when one is weak, the other is earning to balance it.
4. Have you had to change your marketing or sales strategies to adapt to the changing landscape caused
by the pandemic? If so, what changes have you made?
-During pandemic times, everything is beyond control due to many restrictions made by govt. We did
nothing but wait for their go signal for us to operate. That time we were permitted to operate, our sales
gets higher unexpectedly due to the volume of people longing for leisure. We grab the opportunity of
boosting online to have our resort known and scattered to everyone. We also added extra activities like
Atv riding, Arcades, and other water adventures such as Banana Boat, Crystal Kayaks, Paddle Boarding,
and Plastic Kayaks, aiming to put a one-stop-shop memorable experience with Hello Beach.
5. What are the techniques you do to maintain the business during and after the pandemic? -During a
pandemic, we just lessen the resort's expenses by reducing manpower, and we personally take over the
maintenance of the resort. -After the pandemic, boosting online advertising gives great help. We are also
hands-on in answering inquiries to lessen the cost of expenses while recovering.
6. Looking ahead to the future, what steps is your resort taking to remain competitive and successful in
the post-pandemic world, especially given the ongoing uncertainty around travel and tourism? -Good
customer service makes one business very competitive. Being open and listening to our guests’ good
suggestions are plus factors in how we can improve this place. Adding more water adventures and
having a nightlife like Boracay is what we are also aiming forward.
7. What are the guidelines you do for this kind of business before and after the pandemic?
S: What are the strengths of the company? / What makes this company stand out from its competitors? /
What makes your company different from other competitors?
-By having a positive attitude, good customer service, and planning ahead for new improvements and
opportunities makes us ahead of other competitors.
