REALIZATION OF NATIONAL RESILIENCE
We all realize that every nation has noble and beautiful ideals that it
wants to achieve. People say that the ideals a nation wants to achieve have a
function as a determinant of its national goals. Normally, in an effort to
achieve these goals, the nation concerned faces challenges, threats, obstacles
and disturbances that constantly need to be faced or overcome. Therefore, a
nation must have ability, strength, toughness and tenacity. Generally, this is
what is called national resilience, which can also be called national resilience
(Suhady and Sinaga, 2006).
The definition of national resilience is a dynamic condition, namely a
nation that contains tenacity and toughness that is able to develop resilience,
national strength in facing and overcoming all challenges, obstacles and
threats both coming from within and from outside. Also directly or indirectly,
it can endanger the integrity, identity and survival of the nation and state.
National resilience is needed in order to guarantee the existence of the nation
and state from all disturbances both coming from within and within the
country. For this reason, the Indonesian nation must continue to have
tenacity and toughness which needs to be developed consistently and
sustainably.
