Ada beberapa macam model pengukuran yang dapat dilakukan, antara lain Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Indonesia (TKJI), Multistage Fitness Tes (MFT), Cooper Test. A. Pengertian Kebugaran Jasmani Kebugaran jasmani merupakan unsur penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari bagi manusia. Dengan memiliki kebugaran jasmani yang baik, maka seseorang dapat melakukan berbagai aktivitas dalam kurun waktu yang cukup lama dan tidak mengalami kelelahan yang berlebihan. Artinya, kebugaran jasmani yang baik memberikan kesanggupan pada seseorang untuk menjalani hidup yang produktif dan dapat menyesuaikan diri pada tiap pembenanan aktivitas yang lebih banyak lagi. Kebugaran jasmani terdiri dari dua komponen yang dikelompokkan, yaitu:
