Replacing fluids lost through dehydration or vomiting and diarrhea
Rest
Alpha-interferon may improve course of disease
HEPATITIS SCREENING PANEL
Tests for Hepatitis Antigens or Antibodies
If patient tests positive for a Hepatitis Ag, they have the disease or they are a carrier
If a patient tests positive for a Hepatitis Ab, they have been exposed to the virus or
Billirubin tests can be used
