1. Is there a center or central theme in your timeline and life? If you will give a title for your timeline,
what would it be and why?
I am establishing a theme in my timeline of my life while making it. Through the pictures posted you
can simply tell that the central theme of my timeline is about being HAPPY and GRATEFUL. If I am
going to give a title of my timeline it would be “JOURNEY”. Since I am still in my young age, I can tell
that the journey of my life is not yet done. I still have a lot of ladders to climb, success to cheers and
life to ponder in this world.
2. Identify the turning points in your timeline. What were the thoughts, feelings, and actions that you
experienced?
Based on my timeline, the turning points are hidden. There were no turning points as a young boy
going to my youthful years now. I cannot remember it anymore because my life is full of happiness
with love given by my family. It was being covered by good memories to cherish from the siblings of
the family.
3. Who are/were the most significant people in your life. How did they influence you?
First and fore-most the most significant people to me are my parents. Although they do not live
together but the full support is always there. To be successful is always inculcated to me. That is why
I work hard now and dream something big for my future. Another significant people are the family
members among the clan. My uncles, aunties, cousins, and my sister. They taught me how to strive
and always a positive person as I can be.
4. What would you change or add, if you could? How would each of these changes or additions affect
your life, or even change its present course? If only I could change the time, I would want to have a
complete family. But we don’t hold the fate in each one of us. There is always a reason for everything.
I live a normal life now and I am thankful to God for giving me such life. As to what I am today doesn’t
affect since I am blessed to have a very supportive and loving siblings.
5. Where do you want to be in a year, 5 years, and 10 years? What do you expect your future timeline
will be?
I am foreseeing myself graduating in this strand, then enrolled in college and finally a very successful
engineer or architect. My timeline may not be perfect but with God’s grace I know everything will be
achieved through the help of the people around me.
2. Choose a phrase, sentence or paragraph that strikes you?
Reflective practice occurs when you explore an experience you have had to identify
what happened, and what your role in the experience was including your behaviour
and thinking, and related emotions.
We reflect on our experiences to understand what we and others have contributed to a
situation and its outcomes, so that we can improve our contribution and the outcomes in
future situations.

  1. Make a slogan or personal declaration on how you can be committed to your self- development HAPPINESS brings color to one’s personality. Without it, everything is dull and lifeless.”
  2. Explain your thoughts and feelings about it. I'm Include specific ways in which you will develop yourself further. Reading: BEING HAPPY You may have defects, be anxious and sometimes live irritated, but do not forget that your life is the greatest enterprise in the world. Only you can prevent it from going into decadence. There are many that need you, admire you and love you. I would like to remind you that being happy is not having a sky without storms, or roads without accidents, or work without fatigue, or relationships without disappointments. Being happy should always start from one’s self. Happiness, for me, is found within. We should not rely on eternal factors (jokes, comedy shows, etc.) because these factors are not always there to make us happy. Sometimes, we need to allot more time for ourselves to achieve personal happiness. We don’t need to laugh just to show happiness. The feeling of completeness and joy is what I call happiness. For me, happiness is when I am able to survive a hectic day that I thought I wouldn’t be able to surpass. Happiness is when I hang-out with my friends. Happiness is found even in little things. We don’t need to buy a new phone just to be happy. We don’t need to eat expensive food just to be happy We don’t need to wear branded clothes just to be happy. Let us free ourselves with the thought of having more money brings more happiness. Being happy is finding strength in forgiveness, hope in one’s battles, security at the stage of fear, love in disagreements. It is not only to treasure the smile, but that you also reflect on the sadness. It is not just commemorating the event, but also learning lessons in failures. It is not just having joy with the applause, but also having joy in anonymity and to recognize that it is worthwhile to live, despite all the challenges, misunderstandings and times of crises. We need to build the happiness within ourselves. The happiness found wihin is the feeling of completeness, contentment and love. Being happy helps me to have a clear mind-set so I’m focused on the things that I do especially at school. Also, happiness helps me lessen my stress and problems which make me feel relieved and relaxed. Reflection: Mindfulness prepares us for the reflective practice involved in action learning. If we are mindful, we are more aware of our environment, our thoughts, emotions and actions. Hence, we are more present to the situation and better able to notice and recall what transpired when we planned and took action. This leads to a clearer perception of our role in the planning and action. We also have a clearer understanding of what happened, consequences intended and unintended, and why those occurred. It is also builds self-management so that we are better able to reflect on what transpired because our reflections are not clouded by unresolved feelings or distorted recall that is influenced by “confirmatory bias” – in other words, we can avoid “reading into’ an experience an assumption that we confirm by selectively revisiting what happened. Without effective self-management, we can delude ourselves that our reflections on our experiences are accurate when, in fact, they are clouded by our biased perceptions and assumptions (some of which we have developed to protect our self-esteem). Then helps us to better reflect on action because we are more present when we undertake the

partner currently operates three stores in the country, where it has seen "double digit" yearly growth over the past five years, according to its website. “We will naturally review our routines and working process, to ensure that this will never happen again,” Inter IKEA System B.V, the franchisor, said in a statement. In one’s ability to accurately understand business practices, the study of cultural values is significant. Utilizing Hofstede’s cultural dimension the comparison of Saudi Arabia and Sweden business culture will be explained by their beliefs, traditions, and lifestyle. The elements between Saudi Arabia and Sweden produce distinguished results. Both countries’ cultures have distinct managements styles and work ethics. Sweden offers a social democracy that embraces “equality and efficiency” (Gannon & Pillai, 2013, p.145). Worm (1997) has summarized Sweden’s culture as “Femininity combined with low uncertainty avoidance and small power distance generates the basis for mediocrity”(p.95). In contrast, Saudi Arabia are bound to their Islamic faith, that is not only a religion, but the framework of their government that dictates their daily life. Introduction Success in the business realm it is imperative to gain a great understanding of cultures and the importance of how their history has shaped the society of today. Geert Hofstede dedicated much of his time to interpretation and the study cross-cultural management. In comparison, Sweden and Saudi Arabia are not likely to demonstrate cultural similarities. In the identification and comparison of cultural characteristics, Hofstede’s cultural dimensions will be unitized in the research and discovery of Saudi Arabia and Sweden to establish the relation of cultural influence in management.
