Game: Secret Passages
a. Group the students into 3 teams. Group A will be the Blue team,
Group B will be the Red Team and Group C will be the Green Team.
b. In 2 minutes let the 3 teams to roam around the classroom to find 11
pictures assigned to them.
c. After finding it, let them decode the pictures in 3 minutes.

  6. Motivation Game: Secret Passages a.** Group the students into 3 teams. Group A will be the Blue team, Group B will be the Red Team and Group C will be the Green Team. b. In 2 minutes let the 3 teams to roam around the classroom to find 11 pictures assigned to them. c. After finding it, let them decode the pictures in 3 minutes.

d. Once they finish it, they should tape it on the board and recite the word they have decoded. e. They should explain it also on how they decode the pictures. f. The first group that will finish the task correctly will receive a prize. C. Activity

  1. On the same group, give them a set of worksheets.
  2. They should answer all the question in the worksheet that was provided in 5 minutes.
  3. after 5 minutes, their answers would be posted on the board.
  4. After this, proceed to Analysis. D. Analysis
  5. Ask the student “How did you find the activity?”
  6. Ask the students if they noticed about the addition in the activity. E. Abstraction
  7. Define what Adding Integer is.
  8. Show the two methods of adding integer which is Adding integer using number line and Adding integer using signed tiles.
  9. Give examples
  10. Discuss the two rules in Adding integer which is the “When two integers have the same sign, add the integer and assign the sign to the sum.” and “If the integer has different sign, get the difference of the integers and assign the sign of the integer having greater value.”
