PART I: ELECTRIC CIRCUITS
Week 1: Introduction, circuit elements, power and energy, Ohms law
Week 2: Circuit models, Kirchhoffs laws, simple resistive circuits, parallel and series interconnections of resistors
Week 3: Voltage and current dividers, measuring voltage, current and resistance, Quiz 1
Week 4: Techniques of circuit analysis, node-voltage technique
Week 5: Mesh-current technique, source transformations, Thévenin and Norton equivalent circuits
Week 6: Thévenin and Norton equivalent circuits, maximum power transfer, superposition, Quiz 2
PART II: SEMICONDUCTORS
Week 7: The atom, bonding, semiconductors
Week 8: Energy band gap model, general theory of n and p
