A. Whether abortion is morally acceptable and in what
circumstances
- I think it will matter to the carrier of the fetus or the mother
because abortion is morally acceptable since a woman has the
right to manage her own body and vital functions. In some
instances are you live in a poor household and there is an
unwanted pregnancy, abortion is an option because if you are
not ready to raise a child then abort it. If you feel guilty just
imagine how your child is gonna suffer from hunger, sickness,
and lack of money. Another circumstance is that it may be
necessary to abort the fetus to preserve the mother's life, or it
may be highly likely that the mother will die if the fetus is carried
to term.
B. Whether contractual labor is morally acceptable and why or why
not
- The essence of the contract laborer's responsibility is the
abandonment of the right to quit his job and his employer for a
set amount of time. The good side of contractual labor is it is
primarily advantageous to the employer since it lowers business
costs, but at the same time, it also raises ethical concerns
because it invites labor abuse and unfair treatment of contract
workers. Therefore, contractual labor is morally acceptable
because it will depend on the employer and contractor if they
both agree on the contract. If the employer disagrees or when
there are overtones of compulsion and unfairness, and the
intensity of the conditions can be comparable to slavery, then
it’s clear that it’s not morally acceptable.
