A consequential thinking training course designed to support healthy development and prevent anti-social behaviour in children. The course, suitable for years 4-7, covers topics such as understanding community, personal responsibility, and the impact of consequential thinking on behaviour. The learning outcomes include gaining an understanding of the importance of consequential thinking, mental wellbeing, and the age of criminal responsibility, as well as feeling confident in challenging anti-social behaviour.

In today society, it is necessary for us to encourage children to apply ‘consequential thinking’ in order to support their healthy development and prevention of anti-social behaviour. Prevention is a key priority in the Mayor’s Police and Crime Plan 2017 - 2021 in which he made a commitment to implement a whole school prevention pilot which will address gangs, serious youth violence (SYV) and the context of healthy relationships; resilience and enabling young people to make positive choices.
Our consequential thinking, mindset and appropriate behaviour training is an essential element to the curriculum and helps to address some of the concerns raised by the Mayor of London.
This course which runs is suitable for years 4, 5, 6 and 7.
Content includes:
Attendees will gain a good understanding of consequential thinking, how it impacts
on their mindset and appropriate and acceptable behaviour. They will gain
understanding of who they are and an individual and their responsibility towards
themselves and others e.g. their community.
