A Time I Couldn’t use My Mobile Phone
Alright, so im going to describe a time when i didn’t use the mobile phone. so at that time I
was still in grade 9 junior high school and at that time in a few weeks I would take the
national exam, because I was not very smart in class and my parents knew about it, therefore
I was prohibited from using or using my cellphone at home during study for the preparation
of these exams.
Of course my parents have their own reasons for prohibiting me from using the mobile phone
during my preparation for the exam, and the reason I know is because my parents don't want
my focus on my studies to be diverted to my mobile phone, and of course if I get distracted
then I will lose focus while studying and that which made my parents forbid me to use the
mobile phone while studying at home, but I was only allowed to hold the cellphone when I
was outside the house for activities such as tutoring or studying with friends, because of
course my parents were afraid what would happen to me while i going outside and the reason
they allow me to bring my mobile phone if I leave the house to notify them if anything
happens to me
Honestly, I feel very happy and relieved because during that preparation, I spent most of my
time studying at home, and the results were very satisfying, I graduated from junior high
school with grades that I thought were good, and I thank my parents who have helped me
until now, because maybe if they didn't stop me from playing the mobile phone at that time
maybe I would be in trouble during the exam.
A Time I helped someone
so when I was in high school, I joined an organization called the youth red cross, so in this
organization we will be taught how to provide first aid, how to build a tent quickly, how to
make a stretcher, and how to care for a family, and as a volunteering is our duty to helping
people who need help, So at that time there was rain in Bima Regency which caused water to
come out into the streets and damaged a number of buildings in Bima and of course it made
people confused about where to flee and what they would eat during the disaster, because
their houses had been washed away by the flood.
Then we received orders from PMI to go to Bima to bring aid in the form of food logistics
and some tents that we would build there as well as medical equipment, not long after that we
went to Bima to provide immediate assistance to the flood victims, on our way to Bima, we
are always sending videos about the damage caused by the flood, and it makes us sad, when
we arrived at the location, we immediately gathered to hear the directions given and
assignments to be distributed, we were formed in groups to distribute food to flood victims,
and before that we built a tent, after that we went to distribute food and so on to the victims,
not forgetting that we also brought a first aid bag just in case there were injured victims
and after we distributed all the food and provided help to the injured people, we returned to
our tents and prepared to go home, but we felt that our help was still lacking but whatever our
power was, we were declared to have finished providing help by our leader and it makes us
sad because we can't help much, and we go home feeling relieved and sad, relieved to have
helped people in distress, and sad because they feel that they still need a lot of help
