A. Country’s Description
The United States of America (U.S.A.) is one of the largest and most powerful countries in the
world. It is located in North America and has 50 states. The U.S. is known for its strong
economy, technology, and many different cultures because people from all over the world live
there. Americans value freedom, independence, and equality. In business, they are very direct
and like to get straight to the point. They focus on results and quick decision-making. Time is
very important to them, and being on time shows respect. Teamwork is important, but
individuals are also encouraged to share their ideas and opinions. Americans believe that
success comes from hard work, creativity, and taking risks.

Both the U.S. and the Philippines believe that
hard work is important for success.
Americans are very direct when speaking,
while Filipinos are more careful with their
words to avoid hurting feelings.

countries.
In the U.S., meetings are fast and straight to
the point, while in the Philippines, meetings
can take longer with small talk.
Respect is shown to leaders in both
countries.
In the U.S., employees often call their boss by
first name, while in the Philippines, titles like
"Sir" or "Ma'am" are usually used.
