Name: April Roose P. Jaquilmac Section: EDUC 1B Analysis Paper about the film “Hello, Love, Goodbye”. A major consequences of overseas Filipino workers are perceptions on experiences towards laborious success. To interpret the film, assume a normal life living here in the Philippines after getting a degree in college, where one of the common problem of our economy is unemployment. Of course a person that has no job after graduate would eventually make up some plan to work abroad instead. Let us begin to analyze why writers brought the common issue about OFWs in our country to the film. First, as they had selected those actors who have the experience of seeking a perfect job, those who are related to poverty, and those who are putting their personalities to reality shows. Second, since it is relevant that recognizing the breadwinner of the family is another thing most of the Filipino culture is good at. Third, the selection of friendship vibe among characters that could tell how much Filipinos are supporting each other when it comes to working abroad. Another thing is that Hong Kong is one of the worse countries when it comes to overseas Filipino workers. I think the selection of settings are also relevant to the film, especially its experience about romance and friendship gets the most top-rated views on the film. Noteworthy, there are common ideas that has been brought in the film. As they use multi-linguistic style of the movie, mainly for the reason that Filipinos has different dialects have been using since then. Aside from local language, they also include foreign language as to recognize the culture in Hong Kong. Since Filipinos are known to be the well-spoken people, they interpret the movie with multiculturalism so it can come across the nation worldwide to target the audience reviews as expected. In selection of music theme, they use the latest and popular song “Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw” as related to romance and tragic genre. It makes more sense to watch the movie carefully by appreciating some of the masterpiece of Filipino artists. To state the lessons we have learn from the movie, it is important to prioritize yourself than others, because no one will left but only yourself to lift you up.
